QH-6016GH 6m 160mm Chuck 4000W Tube Laser Cutting Machine with Optional Water-Assisted Slag Removal

The QH-6016GH is a mid-range tube laser cutting machine for 15-160mm steel pipe with semi-automatic loading. The 4000W laser source covers the common wall thickness range at production speed, and the 6 metre bed keeps material handling simple for general fabricators. Optional water-assisted slag removal can be fitted to flush molten dross from inside the tube, so the bore and cut edge stay clean for welding and coating.

Laser cutting of steel tube leaves molten dross that sticks to the inner wall of the tube and to the lower edge of the kerf. The water-assisted slag removal unit is an optional module: a controlled water flow is delivered along the tube bore and at the cut zone, quenching the molten dross and flushing it out of the tube before it can weld onto the inner surface. The result is a clean tube bore and a dross-free cut edge, so downstream welding, threading, coating and assembly need far less grinding and cleaning. Water is recovered and recirculated by the chiller circuit, so consumption stays low in continuous production.

Note: water-assisted slag removal, bevel cutting, zero tailing cutting, head removable around chuck and weldseam identification are all optional functions and can be selected independently according to the tube size, wall thickness and downstream process.
