Product Description

The QH-6012G is a CNC tube laser cutting system with integrated bevel cutting functionality, designed for end-preparation and profile cutting of metallic tubular workpieces. The machine features a 120mm chuck diameter capable of clamping round tubes from Φ15mm to Φ120mm and square tubes from 15*15mm to 120*120mm, with a maximum supported tube length of 6,000mm.

The bevel cutting module enables controlled angular cuts on tube ends within a ±45° range, producing weld-ready edge geometries (V-bevel, J-bevel, compound bevel) directly in the cutting cycle without secondary machining. The system accepts fiber laser sources in the 1,500W to 20,000W power range, allowing process optimization across material types including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and galvanized steel at varying wall thicknesses.

Linear positioning and repositioning accuracy on both X and Y axes is held to ±0.03mm, ensuring angular and dimensional repeatability across production batches. An automatic packing unit is included for sorted output of finished workpieces.

Technical Advantages

The primary technical advantage of the QH-6012G lies in its single-setup bevel cutting process. In conventional tube fabrication workflows, bevel preparation is performed as a secondary operation on a separate machine (e.g., end-facing lathe or CNC beveling machine) following the initial cut-to-length step.

This two-process approach introduces additional fixturing time, cumulative positional error from re-clamping, and increased work-in-process inventory. The QH-6012G consolidates both operations into a single clamping cycle: the laser head performs the profile cut and the bevel pass sequentially under the same workpiece registration, maintaining the ±0.03mm positional tolerance throughout.

The 120mm chuck with 6,000mm bed capacity covers a broad range of standard tube sizes used in structural steel, chassis frames, roll cages, and fluid transfer assemblies. The wide laser power window (1,500W-20,000W) permits process engineers to select appropriate power levels for specific material-thickness combinations – for example, lower power for thin-wall stainless tubing where heat input must be minimized, and higher power for thick-wall carbon steel where cut speed and pierce time are critical.

Automatic packing at the output station enables unmanned operation over extended production runs, reducing per-part labor cost and improving line throughput consistency.
